Inmotion’s entry level plans come with all of their fantastic support, but the plans are not as feature rich as the business class plans (which are only about 1-2 bucks more a month). But if you just need to host a blog or a personal web site, these are fantastic deals. The basic Starter is very slim on features, it is not recommended at all because you can’t use the web builder, the installer scripts, get email with it, or use a database. The other two entry level plans, the Basic and the Max, are much better. However, most people get the the business plans (even personal web site owners like them better) and they are only a couple bucks more a month.

Beware! Like most other hosts (except two we’ve found so far), they do not offer a pro-rated refund if you cancel after the trial period. If need a web site up and running fast, Inmotion’s personal Basic and Max plans have a web site builder (the builder does not come with the Starter plan). The site builder will help you build a site online and get it up and running quickly. Without any "techie" skills, you can produce web sites that look really nice.
Inmotion’s personal Basic and Max plans have FREE auto installers of the most powerful open source applications out there (the installers do not come with the Starter plan). These scripts truly rival their commercial counterparts and sometimes exceed them. If you want to create a blog, a content managed web site, a photo gallery, a forum/bulletin board, or an online shop (but don’t start an ecommerce store with an entry level hosting plan, that would not work for you), you can literally install these scripts in a few clicks. Space and Bandwidth Information
The entry level plans give just what you need for personal hosting, which will work for most personal needs. In the Starter plan you get 100GB of space and 1000 GB of bandwidth transfer, with the Basic plan you get 150GB of space and 1500 GB of bandwidth transfer, with the Max plan you get 200GB of space and 2000 GB of bandwidth transfer. However, with both the Basic and Max plans, you get a ton more features which you will definitely need. They are covered above. They load balance their servers, have top notch support, and generally kick butt over all. The features on their entry level plans are okay for individuals, but it’s better to get the low cost business plans because you get more growth, more speed, more everything, and the business plans are inexpensive too.
